Arrivals

Representatives from Western University, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) and York University will be at the Toronto Pearson International Airport to meet and greet arriving International ACAC members during the following days and times:

  • Sunday, July 7: 8:00am - 11:00pm
  • Monday, July 8: 8:00am - 11:00pm
  • Tuesday, July 9: 8:00am - 6:00pm

These representatives will be available at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Upon exiting the secure area in Arrivals, keep an eye out for the 2024 International ACAC table and signage. You'll know you're in the right area when you see this sign. We look forward to greeting you and helping you make your way to London!

An airport shuttle bus service is available from Pearson International Airport. This is often less expensive than flying into London. Reservations are required for both arrival and departure. We recommend arranging your round trip to and from London within one booking.

When booking Toronto Airport as departure and London as destination, be sure to select the option for Address or Landmark in order to confirm transportation all the way to final destination. The drop-down menu provides a list of hotel and campus landmarks. If staying on campus, select Alumni Hall (UWO) if arriving during conference registration hours, or Ontario Hall (arriving outside of conference registration hours).

The Robert Q shuttle arrives at a central London depot on Wharncliffe Road, and then a taxi will take guests who have booked the final leg of the journey to their specific address or landmark.

Flying into Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW)

United States citizens may find it easier or more reasonable pricing to fly to Detroit and travel by shuttle bus to London. Shuttle buses clear customs at the Ambassador Bridge connecting Detroit to Windsor, Canada. Be prepared to show your passport and make any declarations at the border. This location is not recommended for conference attendees flying from other international destinations.

When booking Detroit Airport as departure and London as destination, be sure to select the option for Address or Landmark in order to confirm transportation all the way to final destination. The drop-down menu provides a list of hotel and campus landmarks. If staying on campus, select Alumni Hall (UWO) if arriving during conference registration hours or Ontario Hall (arriving after conference registration hours).

This step is necessary because the Robert Q shuttle arrives at a central London depot on Wharncliffe Road, and then a taxi will take guests who have booked the final leg of the journey to their specific address or landmark
