Get set for a serious dodgeball showdown, and some serious Canadian talent on stage. Sample great local food and beverages and experience Indigenous culture. We promise you’ll come away feeling energized, refreshed and just a bit more ‘Canadian.’

Pre-Conference Institute
The Pre-Conference Institute will be held on July 8 and July 9, in advance of the 2024 Summer Conference. The Pre-Conference Institute provides new professionals (0-2 years experience) the opportunity to learn from seasoned International ACAC members. Separate registration is required. The Pre-Conference begins at 8 am on Monday, July 8 and concludes at 12 pm, Tuesday, July 9.
Golf Scramble
Location: The Fox Golf Club
Date/Time: Tuesday, July 9, 6:30 am to 11:30 am
Cost: $120 USD to participate, $50 CAD (onsite) to rent golf clubs *non-refundable

5K Run/Walk
Wake up and move! Start your conference day alongside your colleagues with either a 5K or 3K Run or Walk. The race can be both competitive and fun, with some choosing to go "all out" and break a sweat, while others prefer casually strolling and chatting.

Good Morning Yoga
Start your morning moving with intention and breathing in community! Our Good Morning Yoga will be a 60-minute all-levels gentle vinyasa flow. This session is designed to promote positive energy, harness the power of breath, and cultivate a sense of ease before heading out into our last day of the conference. Registrants can participate in as much or as little of the physical movement as they would like.
Instructor Bio:
Alyssa Filannino (Admissions Officer, International Admissions, Rutgers University) is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and is excited to share this powerful and fun gift of yoga with the International ACAC Community.

Spin Class
Come join the international community for its first-ever International ACAC Conference indoor cycling class! This 50-minute session is a perfect way for any and all registrants to start their morning with a great sweat, fun music, and even better vibes. Epic beats will push you through a low impact yet high energy workout on stationary bikes - safe for all ages and fitness levels.
Instructor Bio:
John Yi (Yale University) has taught indoor cycling for nearly a decade, with an emphasis on positive messaging and fun choreography. As a former classical flautist and avid singer, John fully harnesses the power of music and rhythm to coach his riders to peak performance.

Raffle
The International ACAC Raffle is a fun, time-honored tradition at the International ACAC Conference that brings wonderful items from around the world for attendees to bid on. All prizes can be viewed online and in-person at the conference. This year, all conference attendees will be able to purchase tickets and bid on items using RallyUp, a web platform that seamlessly allows registered attendees (both in-person and virtually) to participate in the raffle from anywhere on campus and around the world.
Prizes are donated by the entire spectrum of attendees, including counselors, IECs, admissions officers, non-profit leaders, EducationUSA officials, and vendors. This panorama of items includes globally inspired artworks and foods, vouchers for various experiences or services, libations, branded apparel, and novelty items, and much, much more. We encourage anyone attending the conference to donate prizes and to bid their tickets.
